Since 1996 the Academy of Hotel Management and Catering Industry in Poznan has possessed its own modern 4-storey building with a usable floor area of 5300 square meters.


On the ground floor of the building the administration office of the Academy can be found. On the first and second floors there are 10 seminar rooms and classrooms, 18 lecture halls, 4 computer rooms and the assembly hall.


All the rooms are equipped with modern audio-visual facilities and teaching resources. In the basement of the Academy there is an Internet reading room in which students can find necessary information and use electronic mail.


Opposite the Internet reading room there is a library with a general reading room. It is possible to borrow a large assortment of periodicals connected with tourism, catering industry, hotel management and many other subjects from the library.


Due to the popularity of the physical education facilities, the School Authorities built a fitness room equipped with modern facilities.


Apart from its own facilities, the Academy rents municipal sport rooms, such as gyms, swimming pools and tennis courts. Students may also use the nautical base with qualified personnel that conduct courses for nautical certificates.

Beverly Hills Restaurant

The Academy also takes care of students' free time. Young people can use a movie-themed restaurant with a professional kitchen where students of the Hotel Management and Catering Industry major learn to prepare dishes and serve customers

Beverly Hills Restaurant has at its disposal 3 air-conditioned rooms:

• A restaurant room with accommodation for 100 persons. Its interior refers to the American cinematography. Here, you can admire photos of film stars, their autographs and posters of American film hits while listening to the famous soundtracks
• The Winter Garden for 120 people. Its interior especially emphasizes the solemn character of occasional receptions, such as: weddings, communions, baptisms, and balls. The Winter Garden also has at its disposal a big green terrace with tables and a barbecue that is open in summer
• A conference and banquet room with air-conditioning and multimedial equipment. It comprises 500 people in the theatre arrangement or 300 people in the sitting arrangement

We organize:

• Banquets, occasional parties (receptions), conferences, catering to 2000 people
  
• Dishes of Polish, old Polish and European cuisine. At guests' special request we prepare a thematic party including chosen world cuisine, for example: a Latino party or Havana dream
• Staff are students of our Academy who study in hotel management and catering industry major. They work under the guidance of the chef, subject instructors and the room manager

On the ground floor of the Academy you can find a shop with scripts and the latest scientific works as well as a Xerox machine accessible for students and employees.
