Group 1:
10 students from 22.07 to 03.08
Group 2:
10 students from 25.07 to 31.07
Group 1: Students must arrive in Galway on Thursday 21.07 ready to commence work on Friday 22.07 at 10.00am.
Group 2: Students must arrive in Galway on Sunday 24.07 ready to commence work on Monday 25th, time to be confirmed.
Position: Waiter/waitress in the Killanin Stand, Galway Racecourse.
Hours of Work: Group 1: 11 days work / 95.00 hours Group 2: 7 days work / 67.00 hours
Pay: Gross wages are subject to PAYE & PRSI. Wages will rise if you work more than the standard number of hours.
Group 1: €1029.04
Group 2: €797.78
Travel: Lydon House Catering will refund travel costs for flights/buses/trains from Poland to Ireland up to a maximum of €100.00.
We will refund this amount to you upon your arrival in Galway.
Travel receipts must be produced in order to receive your refund.
Uniform: During the week of the Races July 25th – 31st of July you must wear a white blouse or shirt with a smart pair of black trousers. As you will spend long periods on your feet you are expected to wear a pair of black rubber soled flat shoes. The company will provide an apron and tie which must be clean and worn at all times during service. These items must be returned at the end of race week when you collect your wages.
On the days before and after the races you can wear old respectable clothes as the work involved will not be dealing with the public Jeans, t-shirts and runners would be ideal.
Meals: Your meals will be provided while working at the Racecourse and on the days when you are not working you will be expected to provide for yourselves.
Accommodation: Self-catering accommodation will be provided at the Corrib Village, which is located only a short distance from Galway City Centre. |
