Student government

See how the student government functions at the Academy of Hotel Management and Catering Industry in Poznan. 

The Student Government represents the WSHiG student community and its interests towards the academy authorities, it is involved in the life of the academy, it leads and supports activities related to the proper course of the didactic and educational process.

Conventions and conferences 

Representatives of the Student Government take part in conferences and seminars, e.g. in conventions of the All-Poland Inter-University Students' Association "MONSUNN", and a delegate appointed from among them participates in sessions of the Students' Parliament of the Republic of Poland.

Organization of groundbreaking ceremonies, halftime parties, and student parties 

The duties of the student government include the organization of groundbreaking ceremonies, halftime parties and co-organization of the student fair. It has become a tradition for the student government to participate in the annual National Show of Regional Christmas Tables, during which groups of young people from all over Poland can learn about cultural customs of different regions.

Academy’s promotion 

The involvement of the local government can also be seen in the promotional activities of the Academy, the realization of scientific conferences and presentations.
